I'm doing Mayi's challenge TOMORROW!  I'm tidying up the kitchen here at my sister's house.  Her kitchen is actually always tidy, it's my craft chaos throw-up all over her counters and table, that I'm having to clean up!  

Sorry, Sis . . . I know you gave me a whole studio to craft in, but it's so pretty that I prefer to keep it clean and use all but 2 feet of space at the end of the counter bar.  (That's how much room I left her)

NEXT UP . . .

2.  The re-branding of Domesticraft!  TA-DA!  It has been a bit of a struggle with the whole "downsizing, will these boxes and suitcases ever end??" and walking around like I was on a boat drifting at sea, having to jettison so, so much!  Well, it was just what I needed!  And then, about two thirds of the way done getting the apartment in order, I abandoned my hubs for four weeks!  (with his blessing of course)  So instead of thinking of the downsizing as an ending of sorts, I now call it a fresh beginning!  And who doesn't love that?

I'm in my last week of  visiting at my little sister's house in super, sunny Scottsdale, Arizona!  The weather has been amazing and I so get why peeps would want to live here . . . at least at this time of year!  I've had complete freedom to craft and chat and brainstorm and eat popcorn and m&m's to my heart's content!  CRAFT CHICK BLISS!

I can't even begin to tell you what an awesome time I've had!  So, here's what I came up with and it feels RIGHT . . .  cause I stay up late planning it and wake up early thinking about it!  I am chomping at the bit to get started, ya know?   I'm looking at an official launch date of January 1, 2015!  I've got so much I can't wait to share with you!  Do you have any ideas for me?  I would love your input!  And in case I haven't mentioned it or for some reason you didn't notice . . . I AM SO FLIPPIN' EXCITED!

Also, did you happen to notice my new blog header?  Go ahead, I'll give you a minute to scroll up and check it out.   Stay as long as you like, I so hope you like it! :)  Oh, you're back . . .man, that was fun to do!  I'd forgotten how much I love drawing with my mouse!  I've been going down a lot of rabbit holes with my little mouse lately.

Okay, so here's what I came up with it!  Let me know what you think in the comments, I would so appreciate it.  I am a work in progress and want to serve you, so let me know!

Ladies, I need your help!  My friend, Mayi Carles needs my help so I am calling on all my friends reading this.  She is launching her cookbook, Life is Messy Kitchen, in less than a week now!  Talk about nerve wracking, huh?

 Life is Messy Kitchen officially comes out Tuesday, November 18, 2014.

  She invited me to participate in a pre-launch virtual pot-luck, as an official ambassador of her Life is Messy Kitchen Cookbook!  My episode, Domesticraft . . . Diva in the Kitchen, will be featured on her blog Heartmade on Novemember 19th, next Wednesday!  I want to put out a special invitation to you, to be an official ambassador too!  It sounds like it's going to be super fun . . . she did not have to twist my arm to help out!

She's offering some super cool prizes for being so kind and helpful (she's hoping Oprah is going to give her a call, I'm thinking I want to hear from Martha Stewart!) AND I'm going sweeten the pot with a cute little prize too!

 This is a photo of me several years ago.  I had just met Laith, the little boy in the photo.  I was his new Auntie.  He did not want a hug, did he?  Poor little dude!

This is me, also several years ago.  These bees, on another visit to them, wanted to hug me.  Oh, that was such a bad, bad visit.  My husband had to "smoke" me.  I can't talk about it anymore right now. (That is my hubs in the background . . . or is it his identical twin?)

This photo was before the bee incident.  I would not be hanging out in these flower bushes otherwise.  Poor, foolish, unknowing lady.

April, I am sooooo excited! Okay, here’s how it went.
I was just winding down my day kind of early, around 10, I think. My Uncle had come up to visit my Sister and I from San Diego (I am at her house in Arizona for a 4 week crafting & brainstorming marathon visit!). So, although I didn’t get a lot of work done, I had an awesome visit. So, I was going to catch up on some blog tour posts and do some commenting, before going to sleep. Seriously! I went to April’s blog to get to the master list and I was just going down the list, not even really realizing about the contest and then BAM! I saw Domesticraft! WHAT?! I got up and ran to my sister’s room and told her and showed her, I’m like look . . . look! We are practically jumping up and down on her bed! Can you imagine?
Thank you April! You know what though? I already bought the course! About a week ago! I knew I wanted to be able to soak it in and refer to it as much as I needed to, whenever I wanted to. So, I was thinking I could do something exciting on my blog and have this as the grand prize giveaway! I will have the most comments, EVER!

It's been about 7 months since I started this whole small business thing and I must say, it has been AMAZING!  Ups, downs and all rounds . . . but mostly FLIPPIN' AMAZING! Usually I would go one and then on a little bit more, but since I'm going to do this 6 nights in a row, I'll contain myself.  I've got lots of fun stuff in the works and the photo below is a little tease of what will be coming soon, In sha Allah.  But that's all I'm telling you for tonight!
