THE LOVELY DETAILS
Thirty six (36) vintage and antique pages from cookbooks, dictionaries, foreign language books,  grammar books, interior design books, an atlas and several old novels. 2 subtraction flash cards, 4 french and Spanish vocabulary flash cards, 1  sight word flash card, 10 vintage buttons, seam binding lace, some twine & string, hand punched circles, 2 vintage doilies & 3 hand crafted embellishments.

This vintage paper crafting kit is chock full of vintage and antique items for your scrapbooking  or mixed media art adventures.  I can envision traditional scrapbooks and Project Life type albums, post cards, greeting cards, ATC cards,  mini albums, collages, journals, notebooks, altered art, home/office decor and mixed media pieces.

I've curated a Pinterest board just for you!  It's full of unique and awesome vintage book page crafts.  Go get a cup of coffee or tea and get ready for a real treat!  There are so many cool and beautiful things you can do with these bundles!  So go ahead and pre-order to get your best deal and enjoy! The store is not open yet, as you know, so I placed a convenient PAYPAL payment button on the right hand column of this blog just above the Pinterest widget.
Round World Designs on Etsy
You could use the pages as a foundation, like the artwork above, use them as a mat or even layer them with patterned paper.

You could make so many different types of embellishments, from flowers to covered buttons. I think the little rolls of paper look so cute in the clear glass ornament shown above.

Punch or fussy cut (by hand) shapes, like the little handful of circle shapes that come  in this kit.  These make the most adorable garlands!

Print an image from your computer directly on to your book page.  (I want to make a million of these, wait till you see the Pinterest Board!)

Mask or stencil an image on your book page and paint around it.

Cut words or phrases and use them on anything and everything!

Fussy cut an image from a page for embellishment (i.e., a bird or other animal)

Paper-piece small shapes, such as a leaf,  to make a tree.

So, who is drooling over this delish bundle of paper crafting bliss?  All items have been lovingly sought out and rescued from local thrift stores in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. (the craft & thrift hub of the Universe ) You can purchase a vintage book page bundle similar to this one, of your very own!   Or two or three or seventeen even!  I'll be happy to put a bundle together, with love, just for you!  They will be offered at $22.00 per bundle when Domesticraft opens on January 1st.  You can receive a 20% discount by pre-ordering your bundle before the shops opens.  Also, I'll be offering a smaller bundle, a bundle-ette . . . if you will and this will be offered at $14.00 with the same discount.  That would be $17.60 and $11.20, respectively.

    1. Isn't it gorgeous, Sis? I think that is my favorite one too! I have a friend (Dand) at Dapoppins.blogspot.com who does a similar piece with a girl and an umbrella in more of a mixed media style, but equally beautiful. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you around more! :)

    1. Hello, Cathy!

So nice to see you here! I agree! It's one of the things I did not compromise on when I did my huge downsize in September. I posted about it at the time, if you want to take a peek! ;) All of my vintage books came with me and without a lot of room for traditional bookshelves, I've done a lot of "decorative" stacking! It's been a challenge, but I do so love looking at them and using them for so many projects! Oh, and of course, some are just for reading too.

    1. Hi, Janette!

Buntings . . . oh how I love them! You know what I was thinking? There is a cute, tiny bird called a bunting. Yep, it's true. What if I printed it out on small pages, cut it to the size or shape I want, and then run it off on my sewing machine? I can't wait to give ut a try!

Hope to see you again and thanks for the inspiration!
