Memory Planner Challenge-Week 2 | My DIY Digital Designs

Week two already??  What?  Where does the time go?  So, here's what I've been working on this past week.  This is my basic memory planner page, my everyday go to page.  I'm showing you just this one page for today, but this should give you a pretty good idea of where I going.

I spent a lot of time figuring out how exactly I worked, and how I worked best. . . so that this planner would work BEST for me! I made myself my ideal client and got to really "know" me!  This is exactly the step that I take when doing some custom graphic design work.  This step actually comes after I have the customer pick out at least a dozen ideas on Pinterest and pin them in a secret board that I've set up just for their project.  I can pretty much take it from there and then come up with the concepts  and mood boards that I'm showing you below.

I made it with my favorite colors in mind.  Colors that would make me happy and inspire me every time I looked at them. The above is a mini mood board for color choices.

And the above photo is  mini mood board I made up for the graphics that I wanted to include on this page.  Below is another version of what I could do with a layout.  I personally like the first one better. I just wanted to show you a different way,  layed out with the same elements, gives it a whole different feel, don't you think?

I'll be designing and making some of the usual pages that everybody does like . . . shopping list, meal plan, notes, ideas, etc.  I also want to include my biz stuff too, such as a blog schedule and editorial list, a social media planner page and marketing schedule, etc.  Like I said , I want this planner to be perfect for me . . . my perfect planner!!

Well, that's it for this blog post.  I've so much more to show you next week!!  Be sure to pop on over to Francine's and Cara's blogs to see what they've come up with.  You can count on it being both very organized and super cute!! You can check out my last week's post to get all got up if you need too!

Thanks for stopping by guys!  Quick question for you before I go though.  Suppose I were to make one like this for you.  Would you print it out in color or would you preferred it was optimized for black and white printing?  Or would you like both options?  Thank you for letting me know in the comments below!  You are the best!!
