I will trade my crafty skills for brownies. ♡ No joke!

ATTENTION:  Local and online family and friends!

My hubs, David, has been gone for over two weeks now and I've been reduced to eating cereal for dinner, mostly cause I'm too busy
. . . ummm, lazy to cook!  So I want to make a TRADE with someone!

This is Mr. Crafty, my hubs. I know . . . he cooks!

I will BARTER my crafty skills for your baking prowess.  This is a BONAFIDE offer!

I don't kid about this kind of thing!  ;)

Make these amazing sounding brownies for me, from my friend Mayi's super cute cookbook and I will whip you up something super cute and crafty in return!  Isn't that recipe card so adorable? ♡

I did a photo shoot for a yummy recipe  promoting Mayi's Life is Messy Cookbook, back in November when I was visiting my Sis in Arizona.  (Hi Carol!)  Here's the link to that fun post!

So WHO'S going to make and deliver these scrumptious sounding treats for me?  (I'll be patient if you need to send them via Pony Express) Oh, and I will love you to the moon and back!

P.S.  If more than one of you want to make me happy, I will immediately eat the first batch (yes, I'll share them with my preggo daughter upstairs as these are good for her too plus, on the off chance she reads this post, she'll be banging on my door!) and freeze the second batch and then donate all the rest to peeps in my community.  I will then return craft happiness to you all! :)

Zucchini noodles.  Da Bomb!  Seriously delish!   I had no idea they even existed!

Sweet potato fries.  So flippin' good! My oldest daughter says that looks like a turtle.

Think about it, guys.  I would have a super attitude of gratitude!

In the meantime, I've got a huge SALES EVENT coming up on March 19th through the 23rd in celebration of National Craft Month! You didn't think I would forget about that would you?  I'm going to be selling just 1 thing and it is going to be a DOOZY!  If you like crafting, paper, vintage, embellishments, maps, washi tape, clothespins, bingo cards, flash cards, vintage lace, buttons and a BOATLOAD more, then you are going to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this SALE! ♡  I know that sounds like more than one thing . . . but it's NOT!  I will be dropping lots of hints on Social Media, cause you know how I love to build up suspense!

But for now, I only want you to think about sending me brownies!  Lots and lots of brownies!  Thanks, Mayi, for getting brownies stuck in my head!  (She knows nothing about this post, btw, the idea just occurred to me when I saw the recipe in my FB feed and I couldn't stop drooling!  Not pretty!  I'm not thanking her until I've completely eaten my first brownie!  mmmmmm . . . *licking my chomps!

Oh, but wait . . . that's not ALL!  Seriously, I am rubbing my hands together like a mad scientist.  How about I throw in a giveaway too?  Only the peeps who read to the end of this post will even know about it!  Heehee.

I'll keep it simple like usual.  Just comment below with something sweet and hopefully something like, "Yes, Nancy, I will be happy to make you brownies!  Please make me something cute!"  But you can use your own words, of course! ;)

I don't know what the prize is yet, so I'll figure that out and take a pic or two tomorrow.  The giveaway will end at midnite Friday the 6th and I will announce the winner Saturday morning on Facebook.  It will go in the post the same day cause Dana's coming over to pick them all up and have a cup of joe.  I'm really looking forward to that!

Now only 2 things to remember, okay?

Make brownies for me.

Comment with sweetness below.

Here's what I came up with ladies!  A three pack of Tim Holtz idea-ology stickers.  They are 100 reinforcers, 900 label letters and 103 vial labels.  They are SO cute!  I've got a pretty good stash of these and use them all the time.  They are just so versatile and yummy!

CRAFT HAPPY!

    1. Hi, Susan!

I thank you for your sweet thoughts, regardless!

I'm an okay cook, but I can present in a way that makes it looks tastier that it actually is and it seems to make it truly taste better!

Having a hubs that cooks, even occasionally is a treasure to hang on to!

      CRAFT HAPPY,

  4. Whatever is in the bowl with the fork in it-I am pretty sure I need to know how to make that-I'm drooling. As for brownies-sigh- even the dogs turned up their noses at the last batch I baked.I could purloin a box of Girl Scout cookies from hubby's large stash and mail them to you!

    1. Hi, Beth!

Those are zucchini noodles! Strips of Zucchini peeled with a potato peeler and sauteed up with some other veggies with some cheese on top! It was super, super good!

And, yeah . . . I won't say no to girl scout cookies, are you kidding me? I sure don't want to get you in trouble with your hubs though! ;)

    2. Not too long until fresh zucchini will abound-I am definitely going to give this a try. I have been on a veggie binge for several months-but have to put in some pasta. If I like this -it will be so much healthier. Thank you for replying! He sucked up the GS cookies-but I bought him a ton of the Red Velvet oreos-GS cookies trumped them. Send me your address and I'll send you some!
