This is the basement of my home and is what Domesticraft looked like when it was empty. The house was built in 1961, so it is a mid-century modern house and I am a mid-century modern girl. I have such fond memories of this era . . . I was born in 1957. Back in the day, it was a giant rec-room and bowling alley. I am not kidding. I'll tell you more about it in a future post.
Later this week I will do a post on the "during" phase and
then another one of the "after" phase, opening day. I know it will
always be a work in progress and that's part of the fun.
